Zuid-Holland

The coast of South Holland was one of the most heavily fortified stretches of the Atlantic Wall. Hoek van Holland became a Festung with hundreds of bunkers around the Nieuwe Waterweg. The Hague and Scheveningen got a tank wall straight through the city, for which whole neighbourhoods were demolished. Complete positions still lie in the dunes at Katwijk, Noordwijk and Ouddorp.
