The locations come from OpenStreetMap and are published under the Open Database License. The photographs come from Wikimedia Commons; each carries its author and licence. The boundaries come from Statistics Netherlands. The texts on this site are ours.
You may reuse the map data under the terms of the ODbL: name OpenStreetMap as the source. For photographs the stated licence applies, usually Creative Commons: name the author and the licence and link to the source. You may quote our own texts with attribution, but not copy them wholesale.
This map is assembled from public sources. Objects may be in the wrong place, wrongly classified, demolished or missing altogether. Names are often unknown. The distances on the walking routes are measured in a straight line, not along the paths. Use the map to know where to look, not as navigation.
Many of these sites are on private land, in military training areas or in dunes you may not leave the path in. A bunker being on this map does not mean you are allowed to go there. Look for signs and fences when you arrive.
Do not enter bunkers that are not open to the public. They hold water, the concrete is loose, there is sharp debris, and in winter bats hibernate in them, which it is illegal to disturb. Anyone using this map does so at their own risk; we are not liable for damage or injury.
Only send photographs you took yourself. By sending one you give bunkerkaart.nl permission to show it on the site, with your name beside it if you provide one. You remain the owner of the photograph. We do not publish everything and may take a photo down later.
If you spot a mistake, or a photo that should not be there, let us know. Location errors you can also correct yourself in OpenStreetMap; they will then change here at the next update.
